By accessing this website, purchasing a membership, submitting a nomination, voting, sponsoring, or participating in any MMTA program or event, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Organization Overview

Music Mavens Texas Association (MMTA) is a professional membership-based organization supporting female artists and music industry professionals in Texas through events, networking, showcases, educational programming, and recognition initiatives.

2. Membership Terms

• Memberships are non-transferable.

• Membership fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

• Membership benefits are subject to change at MMTA’s discretion.

• Members are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully at all events and within all digital platforms.

MMTA reserves the right to suspend or revoke membership for misconduct, fraudulent activity, harassment, or behavior that damages the integrity of the organization.

3. Payments & Billing

• Payments are processed securely through Stripe.

• By submitting payment information, you authorize MMTA to charge the selected membership, sponsorship, or event fee.

• If memberships are subscription-based, recurring billing will occur automatically unless canceled prior to renewal.

• Chargebacks or fraudulent disputes may result in immediate termination of membership or participation privileges.

4. Sponsorship Agreements

• Sponsorship benefits will be delivered as outlined in the selected package.

• Sponsor logos, names, and promotional materials may be used for marketing purposes related to MMTA.

• Sponsorship fees are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.

5. Event Participation

• Event tickets and registration fees are non-refundable unless an event is canceled by MMTA.

• MMTA is not responsible for travel, lodging, or personal expenses related to events.

• Participants assume all personal responsibility for attendance and involvement.

6. Nominations & Voting

• All nominations must be submitted truthfully and in good faith.

• MMTA reserves the right to verify nominee eligibility.

• Fraudulent, duplicate, or automated voting submissions may be disqualified.

• Voting results are final and determined at MMTA’s discretion.

7. Media & Promotional Use

By participating in MMTA events or submitting content (including photos, videos, bios, or logos), you grant MMTA permission to use this content for promotional, marketing, and archival purposes without additional compensation.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including logos, branding, graphics, and written materials, is the property of Music Mavens Texas Association and may not be copied or reproduced without written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

MMTA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in memberships, sponsorships, nominations, voting, or events.

Participation is voluntary and at your own discretion.

10. Modifications

MMTA reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the website or participation in services constitutes acceptance of any revisions.
